Echos and silence, patience and grace

A little bit more from the stunning new collection available at LaViere with a dash of lots of my other favourite things!  I can't begin to tell you how much I adore this dress, whilst it works perfectly on its own i preferred to pair it with these spiffy leggings made by the fabulous Steffy Ghost. 

Also, I'm loving these skin previews that Ivy Graves has been tossing around for the new line that is due to hit illusory stores eventually.  This particular skin was available at the launch of Collabor88 for a mere $88L (seriously how attractive is that price?).  I believe the skin is still available until the 7th of September but I may be wrong.  I have included a link to the Collabor88 event though for anyone who wishes to check it out.

Pididdle is back baby!

So I actually meant to blog this last night but the forces were against me and I ended up crashing umpteen times whilst attempting to take the photos but, Brutus Martinek of Pididdle was soooo worth the perseverance and persever I did, even if I am a little late to the party!

Plurky Blogger Challenge - It's all in the Background

This week's challenge is all about backgrounds which I think is kinda cool. So many people put in countless hours to bring the world of SL alive and often, I don't think they get the credit they deserve. Sooo with that in mind, I knew as soon as this challenge rolled around that I would be taking my photos at Pixel Dreams. If you have not seen this sim, you are missing out!

The whole sim is very rustic country, with broken down shacks, dilapidated cars and sun burnt grass as far as the eye can see. A little more exploration though will reveal beautiful bridges, rivers and lots of little hidy holes that make wandering around fun and interesting. Seriously, I could spend countless hours here..

Some newness out in the world today..yay!  First off there is the delightful Atomic VIP gift for September.  You do have to pay $250L to join this group, but it's totally worth it!  Then we have some more wonderful poses by !Dont Freak Out and Flowey, who have collaborated to bring us the Flutter <3 Willa series.  I love the How I Met Your Mother Reference in this pose pack but more importantly I adore the poses both of these ladies make, so I hope this won't be their first and last collaboration.  Last but definitely not least, Coco released these gorgeous boots this morning and I was all over them the minute I got the notecard.  So go...spend....enjoy...

A gloomy day outside is playing havoc with my mood, so my wish for the day is a simple one...sunshine!! You would think that would inspire a cute beachy outfit wouldn't you? But alas no, I feel like letting the weather gods know i'm digruntled instead.

Having been away from SL for a while I set off to two of my favourite shops this morning being Fri.day and Armidi, fortunately for me lots has changed in the last few months and I got to spend the morning blissfully sorting through shoes, coats, hats and hair...I was heaven... my wallet...however.... was not!

In honour of my mornings shopping spree this look has largely been inspired by the scrummy seperates at fri.day with a dash of armidi for class, coco for elegance and URdogs for sparkle.
