You're my crack of sunlight

Cute rustic picnic pose props and bunneh hooded hoodies - this might just be too much adorableness in one post but I'll do my best!!  Cinema is in full swing and this lovely little picnic pose prop is one of the offerings from !Bang Poses.  With 4 inbuilt couple poses it really does provide the perfect backdrop to a cosy afternoon.

Auxiliary simply never fails and this bunneh hoodie might be one of my favourite things ever, available in five exclusive colours combos at Cinema, how can you possibly go past a hoodie with ears?!!!

Cinema is open now and runs through until the 31st of October.

Yes, Detective

Vintage Fair is in its final few days, sadly I haven't had the opportunity to blog this event as much as I would have liked too, however there were a few pieces I wanted to show you before it all wrapped up for another year.

This amazing detective room prop is available from Lost Angel Industries, exclusively to Vintage Fair, with 7 couple poses in built as well as the desk, chairs and all accessories, let your imagination run wild and you can have a whole lot of fun with it.

Secondly is this stunning dress from Boom, so classic and elegant, it is definitely one of my favourites from the Fair.

Vintage Fair runs through until the 29th of August and if you haven't been yet, now is the time to go, lag is gone, the crowds have died down and, as an added bonus, you can now teleport directly to store entrances as opposed to landing areas.  You can find all the SLURLS for the individual stores on the Chic Management website.

Pose Fair 2012 - It's a couple thing

The third annual Pose Fair still has a few days to run, so I thought I would show you some of the yummy couple poses available.

(Glitterati - Wrapped)
Glitterati, in my humble opinion, makes some of the best couple and group poses available.  They nearly always fit my shape right out of the box and there are very very rarely ever limbs sticking in places they shouldn't b,e but perhaps most importantly, is Katey Coppola's ability to capture emotion through her work.  The poses above and below are both available from the Glitterati booth at Pose Fair and they are both just so adorable you really do need to have them!

(Glitterati - The Whole Day)

Pose Fair this year definitely offers a little something for everyone.  Single poses for your every day consumer, gorgeous intimate couple poses such as the two above, family poses and props but.... Pose Fair wouldn't be complete without a little adult fun!  (Please note, this blog is probably NTSFW from here down!)
(Exposeur - Outta Me, Onto You)

I have to admit, I didn't really know very much about Exposeur prior to The Festival of Sin... yes I know.. I live under a rock... but... I had such an awesome time at Festival that I couldn't help but run to Exposeur at Pose Fair to see what goodies were to be had and of course... Ruby didn't disappoint!

(Adorkable & Exposeur - Million Dollar Man)

There are a few fun collaboration pieces available at Pose Fair this year as well that a worth checking out.  This one is from Adorkable and Exposeure and I just love everything about it!

On a side note, I had to bring out my poor male alt today to shoot these photos and I just have to say, I have renewed respect for the male bloggers of our little world.  Your job is tough and so many of you do it so very well!)

Pose Fair runs until April 29th so get your butts over there.

Pose Fair 2012 - A little bit of country

(Lost Angle Industries - Fence)

I had a pretty great childhood growing up about 100Km north of Brisbane in what, at the time, was a pretty rural area.  We had more animals then you could poke a stick at including horses, dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, genie pigs and the occasional frilly necked lizard. I believed learning to to drive by scooting around the paddock on the rider mower was perfectly acceptable,   I believed that goon a fortune (think cheap and nasty cask wine pegged to mum's hills hoist) always made for an entertaining evening and to this day I still believe the kindness with which you treat an animal speaks volumes about your character.  Yes, you could say I'm a bit of a country girl at heart, so when i see country inspired props in Second Life, i always feel a tug at the hearts strings and just can't walk past them.  Fortunately for me, the third annual Pose Fair offered up country inspired props that would make any wannabe cowgirl's knees quiver!

Lost Angel Industries launched an entire new spring collection at Pose Fair and every prop is just amazing.  The Fence prop (which is the in the above photo) comes with 10 individual poses, which are all fantastic!  There is also a group version available which is just as much fun.  Great as both a pose prop and a decorator item, it was definitely one of my must haves.

(Lost Angel Industries - Straw Bales)

Another fabulous country prop is of course some good old straw bales also from Lost Angel Industries.  Use it by yourself or drag some friends along, this prop comes with 8 poses, some subtle, some quirky and all a little bit fun!

(Captivity Co - Mesh Horse)

I fell in love with this Horse prop from Captivity Co the second I saw it.  With 10 different texture / coat options and 5 inbuilt poses, it really is just adorable!

Pose Fair is open now and runs until the 5th of May.  If you haven't been yet, you really must go.... right now... that's an order!

Meet Leah, the newest addition to the Glam Affair skin range, isn't she just lovely?  As anyone who is bored enough to read my blog would know, i'm a huge fan of Glam Affair skins, awaiting each new release with baited breath and it seems with each new skin I find a new favourite.  Leah is no exception, quite possibly my favourite Glam Affair skin to date, from the subtle make up options to the gentle smattering of freckles across her cheeks, she is just so perfect in every way.

Leah comes in 5 tones with 3 different eyebrow options, 13 different makeups, 3 freckle layers and and an additional 20+ lipsticks for you to mix it up a little... how is that for choice?

Back to Black Part 3

I very very very rarely wear formal wear in Second Life, not because there aren't some great designs out there, but mostly because I have nowhere to wear them and well made formal wear is often rather expensive in terms of the Second Life economy.  However, when I saw this dress by Plank Couture at Back to Black, I just had to have it and i've been having fun running around it for about a day and half now.  Don't wanna invite me to Ball, no problem... i'll wear it to Callob88 instead! :p

Back to Black is a mental health awareness initiative bought to you by the lovely ladies at Chic Management, it's also an event shining the spot light on something very close to my heart.  Did you know that at some point in your life either you or someone you know will suffer some form of mental illness?  A sad but very real reality, not to mention scary if you know very little about it and that is exactly where this event comes in.  Some fabulously talented designers have come together with goodies galore to focus your attention on mental health.  Back to Black starts on February 11th, the event area is full of not only amazing fashion but pieces of vital information regarding mental heath and it's associated illnesses....please please please when you attend this event, take the time to read just some of the information provided for you... you never know... you or someone you love may need it one day.

52 Weeks of Colour - Iron

It occurred to me recently that back in July last year, my little blog turned one, a milestone I really should have celebrated by telling you all just how awesome you are!  Being a very typical Gemini I tend to bore of things very easily, so the fact that I'm still around and doing this is no mean feat, but honestly, I don't know if I'd still be here had it not been for the support that people have shown me.  So, from me to you, thank you <3

In other non gushy news, have you been to Entente yet?  If not, you really should.. super cute basic pieces that are perfect for all the layer obsessed people!

Echos and silence, patience and grace

A little bit more from the stunning new collection available at LaViere with a dash of lots of my other favourite things!  I can't begin to tell you how much I adore this dress, whilst it works perfectly on its own i preferred to pair it with these spiffy leggings made by the fabulous Steffy Ghost.

Also, I'm loving these skin previews that Ivy Graves has been tossing around for the new line that is due to hit illusory stores eventually.  This particular skin was available at the launch of Collabor88 for a mere $88L (seriously how attractive is that price?).  I believe the skin is still available until the 7th of September but I may be wrong.  I have included a link to the Collabor88 event though for anyone who wishes to check it out.

Hair Fair Part 3

Hair from [Kik] - Kik's offerings at Hair Fair this year may be my most favourite styles from her yet,  her styles are always fun and cute and I'm loving the messy appeal!

Left to right we have Heidi, Fine and Tilda (head piece is optional)

Hair by Elikatira - What is there to say about Elika hair that hasn't already been said?  She is amazing, her styling is flawless and she takes up more space in my inventory than I care to admit! You must get this hair!

Left to right we have Story, Pretend and With

Hair by Aoharu - Machang always offers hair that is so unique.  I first stumbled across her hair at last year's Hair Fair and was thrilled to see her back again.  There is definite summery appeal to her styles this year!

Left to right we have Gemma, Megan and Daria

Hair Fair for 2011 runs through until the 15th of July, so you still have time to deprim and get your butts over there!

Dirty little freaks

So raise your glass if you are wrong in all the right ways,
All my underdogs,
We will never be anything but loud and nitty gritty,
Dirty little freaks,
Won't you come on and raise your glass...

I've had a few people lately ask where my skin is from because I don't credit it in every post.  This isn't because I want to take anything away from the wonderful designer or because I don't want to share it.  I don't change my skin all that often and I will always credit it when I do like I did way back here.  So if I haven't credited it in a while, it's pretty safe to assume I'm still using the same one.  But for those that are wondering Atomic's Audri Abyss 2 in porcelain by the amazingly talented Miss Ivy Graves is currently rocking my skin world.
