Introducing Leah by Glam Affair

Meet Leah, the newest addition to the Glam Affair skin range, isn't she just lovely?  As anyone who is bored enough to read my blog would know, i'm a huge fan of Glam Affair skins, awaiting each new release with baited breath and it seems with each new skin I find a new favourite.  Leah is no exception, quite possibly my favourite Glam Affair skin to date, from the subtle make up options to the gentle smattering of freckles across her cheeks, she is just so perfect in every way.

M is for medley

As you may have heard Squinternet Larnia, the fabulous designer behind Donna Flora, has been exceptionally unwell fighting a nasty battle with an even more horrible disease, so when I saw Cajsa Lilliehooke was organising a little tribute/ pick me up A - Z Challenge, I knew I just had to be a part of it.  I scored the letter M (great choice, I must say!)

I don't know Squinternet personally, but I do have a great deal of admiration for the stunning collection of designs, both clothes and jewellery, that she contributes to our second lives.  Designers bring so much colour to our world here and the opportunity to try and bring a little bit of happiness to her at a time she really needs it, was simply too much to pass up. So Squinternet, stay strong, fight hard and get well soon, but in the mean time, know that there is an entire community sending positive thoughts your way.

There is a new event taking place right now called Epoch Legend and if you haven't visited yet, then quite seriously, stop whatever you are doing and goooo, it is fabulous!  The event is divided into three sections (landmarks to all sections are available from the Creators Cafe) and Maylee Oh of The Secret Store has released this stunning Circus outfit for the event.  So often in Second Life I find myself wearing many many items that I wear or would wear in my day to day life, so I had a lot of fun branching out into something new.   The outfit is mesh and includes the hat, the outfit itself and the stockings, and is available in the 5 standard sizes... really go visit, take lots of $$$, you won't regret it.

Just one word caution regarding the Epoch Legend event, many of the builds are mesh and you will need a mesh enabled viewer to attend the event.

Back in Black

I've never liked being boxed much and anyone who knows me, knows my style jumps all over the place with my mood.  After wandering the grid for a few days as a prima ballerina (see last post) and taking another trip the Festival of Sin, I felt the need to go for something a little more edgy. 

My visit to Festival of Sin proved more than fruitful, I absolutely adore these tights from AddiCt and the body suit from Kyoot is just perfect and both of these delicious items are available from the festival.

Also, my random happy for the day is definitely new LeLutka Mesh Hair and a big YAY for the $1L demos finally being scrapped!

52 Weeks of Colour - Alice Blue

Still playing a little catch up with Part II of the 52 Weeks of Colour Challenge, but I'm hoping to be back on track by the end of the weekend.  Alice blue wasn't the easiest colour to find but then I remembered this skirt from Atomic and it was oh happy days!

More importantly, there is this little event going on at the moment that you may have heard of called Festival of Sin (c'mon admit it, you've all been and gleefully purchased your walk of shame dress :p).  Aida from Glam Affair has released a new skin for the event called Vanity and she is just as pretty and perfect as you would expect anything from Glam to be.  Ms Ewing is a master when it comes to pixels and new Glam Affair always makes me happy!  Unedited pictures of the stunning new skins are below:



There are 4 varieties of eye make up available as well as 10 different tattoo lip shades, so plenty of choice for everyone and I would highly recommend you get on your bicycle and check it out!
