Hair Fair 2012 - Lamb, Fashionably Dead & LaViere

Hair Fair is heading into its last 24 hoursish so now seems like the perfect opportunity to remind of you of some of the amazing styles that have made this years Fair a roaring success.

Lamb - Wild at Heart, Falling, Blue Velvet & In Heaven

Lamb has 4 female styles and 1 male style up for grabs at Hair Fair this year.  If you read my blog regularly you will know I'm a huge fan of all things Lamb and this years offerings are no exception, however I wouldn't be doing my job properly if I didn't warn you that there is a slight rigging problem with the Wild at Heart and Blue Velvet styles.  This doesn't impact the wearability of the stunning hair styles generally, but some poses will cause the hair to disappear into the side of your head.

Fashionably Dead - Beanie Baby, Saturday, Maire, Garden and Sunday

I'm always excited to see what Fashionably Dead offers up at Hair Fair time and this year Toast Bard has gone for some simply beautiful and feminine styles that are sure to please even the most discerning fashionista.

I think I must have been living under a bit of rock prior to Hair Fair as I had no idea that Azure Electricteeth made hair under her LaViere brand and smashing hair at that.  These 3 styles are quite possibly some of the my absolute favourite must have picks at this years fair!

Hair Fair - Epoque & Wasabi Pills

Hello my sweets, firstly I must apologise for the lack of posting and particularly for the delay of posting for Hair Fair.  Shortly after my last post, I pinched a nerve in my back and shoulder which rendered me pretty much useless.  Fortunately I'm on the mend now and have lots and lots and lots of hair to inundate you with... aren't you lucky?

First up we have the amazing Epoque

With 4 amazing styles (3 female, 1 male) on offer this year, I really couldn't go past epoque meshy goodness, you really shouldn't either!

Next up is the always amazing Wasabi Pills.

  I have to be honest, I didn't really know a lot about Wasabi Pills until mesh launched, but MissAllSunday Lemon has smashed mesh hair out of the ball park and I just adore her for it.  She also has 4 amazing styles up for grabs at Hair Fair and I love each and every single one of them!

Mirror Mirror

When the creative minds of Second Life come together to do an event like Fairy Tales you simply know they are going to amaze and amaze they did.  The sheer imagination on display at this event is nothing short of breath taking. 

This gorgeous mesh dress and crown are new offerings from Kyoot and are available at the Fairy Tales event.  My inventory is slowly morphing into an almost mesh exclusive zone so I was super duper thrilled to see Saeya branching out into mesh.

Introducing Leah by Glam Affair

Meet Leah, the newest addition to the Glam Affair skin range, isn't she just lovely?  As anyone who is bored enough to read my blog would know, i'm a huge fan of Glam Affair skins, awaiting each new release with baited breath and it seems with each new skin I find a new favourite.  Leah is no exception, quite possibly my favourite Glam Affair skin to date, from the subtle make up options to the gentle smattering of freckles across her cheeks, she is just so perfect in every way.

There is a new event taking place right now called Epoch Legend and if you haven't visited yet, then quite seriously, stop whatever you are doing and goooo, it is fabulous!  The event is divided into three sections (landmarks to all sections are available from the Creators Cafe) and Maylee Oh of The Secret Store has released this stunning Circus outfit for the event.  So often in Second Life I find myself wearing many many items that I wear or would wear in my day to day life, so I had a lot of fun branching out into something new.   The outfit is mesh and includes the hat, the outfit itself and the stockings, and is available in the 5 standard sizes... really go visit, take lots of $$$, you won't regret it.

Just one word caution regarding the Epoch Legend event, many of the builds are mesh and you will need a mesh enabled viewer to attend the event.

52 Weeks of Colour - Alice Blue

Still playing a little catch up with Part II of the 52 Weeks of Colour Challenge, but I'm hoping to be back on track by the end of the weekend.  Alice blue wasn't the easiest colour to find but then I remembered this skirt from Atomic and it was oh happy days!

More importantly, there is this little event going on at the moment that you may have heard of called Festival of Sin (c'mon admit it, you've all been and gleefully purchased your walk of shame dress :p).  Aida from Glam Affair has released a new skin for the event called Vanity and she is just as pretty and perfect as you would expect anything from Glam to be.  Ms Ewing is a master when it comes to pixels and new Glam Affair always makes me happy!  Unedited pictures of the stunning new skins are below:

4 Corners, which side are you on?

4 Corners is an event that is the brain child of the amazing Emily Kaestner of Croire.  The basic theme is the promotion of four current fashion trends being Delicate Damsel, Bikes and Spikes, Alluring Modesty and Delightfully Bright.  The sim is literally divided into four corners, one for each theme.  The designers participating are confinded to the theme of their relevant corner and oh my are there some awesome goodies to be had!  Most of what i'm wearing come from the Bikes & Spikes corner, which I pesonally had a lot of fun in!

The event started at midnight so is open NOW.  All that is left to decide is, whose side are you on?

Cause this city is my city

Hello my sweets, i know it has been a while but I've been having no end of crashing viewer issues, which always making blogging so much more enjoyable.  Be that as it may, there are just too many tasty treats getting around at the moment, to not persevere and show you some stuff. 

This delightful dress from Tram was new when i bought it (a month ago) but if you haven't seen it yet, I would highly recommend it.  Well crafted and versatile I had a lot of fun playing dress ups with it.  It is mesh though, so make sure you have a mesh enabled viewer and of course try the demo before purchasing.

The hair I'm wearing may just be my favourite mesh release so far, it was a beauty from LeLutka a couple of weeks ago and i looove it.  In fact, i haven't taken it off since I purchased it.

The last thing I have been dying to show you are these stunning eyes from Fleur du Mâle.  The shots below are raw from SL so you can get a true feel for how they look.

Fleur du Mâle is a relatively new brand that, for the moment, just creates eyes.  But if these eyes are anything to go by, I am very much looking forward to seeing what they do next.  As you can see the colour combinations are gorgeous and you get a plethora of size and shade options in the pack when you purchase it.  The above is just a small sample of the tones available.  Since they say the eyes are the windows to the soul, you really should make this a stop on your next shopping trip.

Red Seal Hunt

The Red Seal Hunt is a sim wide hunt put on for your enjoyment by the super talented gang of designers located at Rue D'Antibes.  You are hunting for the little white envelope with the red seal, contained within is lots of goodies for your enjoyment.  Just some of the stores participating are Barnesworth Anubis, Zeery, Metaverse Couture, Pulling Strings, Indrya Originals and Raspberry Aristocrat.  I'm showing above, just a small sampling of what's on offer, so grab your taxi to the starting point and get hunting!

This outfit is completely inpired by That 70's Show, largely because I spent most of the week watching a bit of a marathon of it that was running, so here you go, my ode to the 70's!
